Southpoint Medical Mall, Walla Walla, Washington
MEIER designed 15,000 s.f. three story medical center housing physicians and business practices. The building design is planed in two phases; exterior shell design and tenant improvements. The exterior shell includes elevator shaft, two stair towers, common restrooms and mechanical space allocation. The interior tenant improvement design includes programming, schematic design providing space allocation and layout tailored to each practice, ensuring good traffic circulation for staff and patients and providing efficient work flow for the doctors. In addition to Architectural services MEIER provided civil, structural, mechanical and electrical design. This project had to take in design consideration the existing women’s health center located on the adjacent property.
